Your choice

Allow reading storage enables reading positions on this device. Keep optional reading off leaves them off. Manage preferences lets you choose the option individually. Closing settings without saving does not count as consent. Invalid or expired choices default to off.

A Cookie Settings control is available throughout the publication. Without JavaScript it opens this policy; use the browser’s site-data controls to remove previously saved records. If storage is restricted, the feature reports that it cannot reliably save the affected preference and keeps optional behavior off.

Reading-feature storage

sdjr_privacy_v1 · first-party cookie

Records preference version, reading choice and timestamp after a deliberate saved choice. Maximum 180 days, scoped to this website path. A later choice replaces it; browser site-data controls can remove it.

sdjr_reading_v1 · localStorage

Optional article paths, reading positions and timestamps. Initialized only after reading-position consent, including an empty record on non-article pages. Entries expire after 180 days and are pruned when the feature reads or writes them; at most 30 records are retained by the feature. Rejecting or disabling the option attempts to remove the record. Browsers may retain unused localStorage until it is accessed or removed through browser controls.

Current-page memory only. The calculator does not persist these values; Clear removes them.

Other website technologies

The shift-window planner and reading controls do not include analytics, advertising tags or third-party media players. Other WordPress plugins, embedded content and hosting services can operate separately. Reading-preference controls govern only the reading feature; they do not control those services or establish a complete inventory of the website.

WordPress sign-in and administration may use separate authentication cookies for signed-in users. These reading controls do not remove authentication cookies, email, server logs or records at linked websites. This list describes reading-feature storage and any additional details the publisher has supplied.

Scope of these controls

These controls manage the publication’s reading feature. They do not manage another website’s storage or any separately listed technology. The Privacy Policy describes the website’s delivery providers, processing and correspondence.

Changing your mind

Your choice applies to this browser and website path. Disabling optional reading stops future reading-position storage and attempts to delete its localStorage record. A later saved choice replaces the preference cookie. Other browsers and devices can have different choices.

Withdrawal does not delete email, request logs, browser history, printed pages or another website’s records. The planner uses current-page memory only; its Clear button removes the current values and result. Cookie Settings does not erase the browser’s own form-restoration behavior.
